Privacy Policy
ScriptCoveragePro is a service of First Draft Filmworks ("we," "us"). This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, why, and how we protect it. Using the service means you agree to what's described here.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider).
- Your screenplay — the PDF you upload so we can produce your coverage.
- Order data — the package you bought, the amount, and a payment reference from PayPal.
We do not store your full card or PayPal credentials. Payments are processed entirely by PayPal.
How we use it
- To generate and deliver your coverage report.
- To keep a history of your scripts and payments inside your account.
- To email you your report and respond if you reply with questions.
Your script and confidentiality
Your screenplay is yours. It's encrypted on upload, processed in a secure environment, and the source PDF is permanently deleted once your coverage has been delivered. We never sell, publish, or share your material, and we do not use your script to train public AI models.
Who can see your data
Only you (through your account) and the reader assigned to your coverage. We use trusted infrastructure providers — Supabase for accounts and storage, and PayPal for payments — who process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account and associated records at any time by emailing us. We'll remove what we're not legally required to retain.
